I feel like Pumpkin Rapper was a series of happy accidents. To start, it was amusing that my friends and I even wanted to cosplay characters from Power Rangers. The more we talked about the idea, the more we started gravitating towards Power Ranger villains. Because I love all things Halloween and obscure cosplays, I thought Pumpkin Rapper would be fun to create.
I didn’t exactly know how I was going to make him happen.
Little by little though, Pumpkin Rapper came together. In the end, I was quite happy with how he turned out and was received. I also learned a lot from the process.
